Venkatesh on F3: Next year chooddam!

The much-hyped sequel to ‘F2’ featuring Venkatesh and Varun Tej is facing inevitable delays to the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus and economic recession. Senior star Venkatesh informed director Anil Ravipudi not to begin pre-production any time soon. Reliable sources have told us that Venky said to the director, “next year chooddam, tendaremundi” (We’ll see it next year, do not hurry).

Anil Ravipudi has already wrapped the script of ‘F3’ which he claims is not a sequel but another version of this ‘F2’ franchise. ‘F2’ was a roaring hit due to its fun factor. 

Anil Ravipudi scored another hit this year with Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ but he couldn’t convince any other big hero to get immediate dates. Thus he wrote the script of ‘F3’ in the hope of commencing the shoot from July this year. However, the coronavirus and lockdown have poured water on his hopes.

Meanwhile, Venkatesh will have to complete the shooting of Srikanth Addala’s ‘Naarappa’ this year and there’s also a wedding celebration (Rana’s) in their family later this year.
