Vijay agrees to cut Rs 20 crore from his remuneration!

If the reports coming from Chennai are to be believed, we must all applaud Tamil superstar Vijay. The ‘Whistle’ star reportedly agreed to take a pay cut for his next film to help the producers.

Vijay is one of the highest-paid stars in India as remuneration is above Rs 80 crore per movie. He has already wrapped up ‘Master’ which is waiting for the coronavirus pandemic to end to have a theatrical release.

He will soon be launching another film in the direction of AR Murugadoss and it will be produced by Sun Pictures. Reports say Vijay voluntarily came forward to take a 20 percent pay cut for this movie. Murugadoss has also slashed remuneration.

This will cut down the budget drastically. This is the way to for big-budgeted star-studded movies now as the economic recession and corona crisis has adversely affected the movie industry.
