Vijay Deverakonda gets emotional

Vijay Deverakonda’s younger brother Anand Deverakonda is debuting as lead actor in ‘Dorasaani’ that releases this Friday (July 12). Vijay Deverakonda has been keeping himself away from promoting his brother’s maiden movie. He didn’t share a single promotional material on his social media platform.
 
“I wanted to prepare him for all the trolls, rejections, and problems. It was deliberate attempt on my side not to share his movie’s songs or trailers on social media. I wanted him to get real feedback from people so that he would learn things on his own,” Vijay Deverakonda explained the reason at the pre-release function of ‘Dorasaani’ that was held on Sunday.
 
He turned quite emotional when talking about his brother and his eyes were almost filled with tears.
 
Vijay Deverakonda also shared the information that his brother had helped him and his family financially when he was struggling with his acting career around ‘Pelli Choopulu’ time. “Anand has good job in USA. He left USA for his acting career,” he said.
 
‘Dorasaani’ also marks the debut of Rajasekhar’s daughter Shivathmika. “Shivathmika is a fine actress. People will talk about her performance after July 12,” he praised the debutante.
