Vijayashanti who ruled the South Indian film industry as number one heroine for more than a decade in the ’90s is making a comeback to the movie industry in ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ that features Mahesh Babu in the lead role. Vijayashanti is essaying the role of a lecturer. While speaking to media on her comeback, Vijayashanti shared her opinion about the current generation of heroines.
She admitted that she is not impressed with any heroine of today’s’ times. “Frankly, none of their body of work is impressive enough,” she lambasted.
“In my times, producers and directors would queue up to our residences to take call sheets. We heroines used to work in more than a dozen movies in a year. Where is such craze and longevity for these actresses?” she observed.
