Vijay’s wife Sangeeta seeks right to live in ‘her’ home

Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s wife, Sangeeta, has filed a fresh petition in a family court seeking the right to reside in her matrimonial home, alleging that Vijay is not allowing her to stay there.

Sangeeta had earlier filed for divorce, and while the case is still underway, she has now approached the court requesting intervention to allow her to live in what she describes as “her” house.

In the petition, she stated that Vijay must fairly provide what is due to her and their children, claiming that she is currently being denied entry into the residence.

She also said that she has “at all times been a dutiful housewife, devoting herself entirely to managing the household, raising the children, and caring for the respondent (Vijay).”

According to the filing, she initially sought a divorce through mutual consent, taking into account Vijay’s “professional and political circumstances.” However, she alleged that an amicable resolution could not be reached.

Sangeeta further claimed that Vijay had told her she would not be permitted to live in the matrimonial home if she chose to approach the court.
