Vishwaksen has teamed up with KV Anudeep, the director of Jathi Ratnalu, for a new comedy titled “Funky.” The film’s teaser was unveiled recently, leading many to believe it would hit theaters this December.
However, the producers have different plans and have now scheduled the release for summer 2026. “Funky” is set to arrive in theaters on April 3, 2026.
This marks the first official announcement from Sithara Entertainments, a banner known for frequently shifting release dates. So, this could just be the initial schedule.
In the film, Vishwaksen plays a refreshing new role as a film director, while Kayadu Lohar stars as a movie actress. Bheems Ceciroleo is composing the music.
