War 2: Promos set to air during IPL final

The teaser for “War 2,” featuring NTR and Hrithik Roshan, was recently released and garnered mixed reactions online. Undeterred, the makers are planning a massive promotional campaign to build momentum ahead of the film’s release.

According to Bollywood media reports, production house Yash Raj Films (YRF) has decided to showcase “War 2” promos during the IPL 2024 final on June 3. With the final drawing in millions of viewers, this strategic move aims to maximize visibility among cricket fans and the general public.

Producer Aditya Chopra remains optimistic, believing that despite some online trolling, “War 2” will meet audience expectations and have a strong opening when it hits theaters on August 14. The film marks the Bollywood debut of NTR.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, “War 2” is a high-octane spy action thriller. Kiara Advani stars opposite Hrithik Roshan, and her first bikini-clad appearance, teased briefly in the promo, is already generating buzz as one of the film’s visual highlights.
