Weekend BO: Ramarao On Duty fails to bring respite

Ravi Teja being the mass maharaja, the distributors and the Telugu film industry placed hopes on ‘Ramarao On Duty’ and hoped that it would put breaks to the trend of flops. Released on July 29th, the film, however, failed to bring any respite.

The film took average openings on the first day, but it could not see any jump or growth in the collections over the weekend. Directed by Sarath Mandava, ‘Ramarao On Duty’ has few chances to sustain weekdays.

At the US box office, the film grossed about 105k dollars on the first weekend.

Ravi Teja’s career took a new turn with the massive success of ‘Krack’ (2021). But he had two disappointments with ‘Khiladi’ and ‘Ramarao On Duty’, and he has four films on the sets.

The dubbed movie ‘Vikrant Rona’, which was released on 28th July, raked in decent collections with a share of Rs 2.5 Cr in four days.
