What went wrong in Akhil-Shriya's paradise?

Two weeks ago Nagarjuna was a happy man. His film Om Namo Venkatesaya was hitting the screens and two sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni both were engaged to get married. Now tables have turned! His film ONV sank misserably and Akhil Akkineni’s engagement is broken.

Reasons for this is not known as yet. But it is true. He was engaged to Shriya Bhupal, from the affluent GVK family. The engagement was a grand one. This is not the first time that a star engagement is being called of. We have seen Abhishek-Karisma from Bollywood, in Kollywood there was Trisha and Varun, and in Tollywood there was the infamous late Uday Kiran-Sushmitha engagement. Then what is so intriguing about Akhil?

Akhil Akkineni is very young for marraige.Though he is legally eligible for marraige, eyebrows raised when his engagement was announced. Ram Gopal Varma even cautioned the young actor through his midnight tweets. The one film old actor has no accomplishement except the Akkineni name. His second film is taking years to happen. Akhil’s first film ‘Akhil The Power of Jua’ was a bad launch pad.

Akhil, we think should be concentrating on his career. Marraige can wait for now. Nagarjuna is a worried father with his son’s career and personal life going sour for now. Hopefully this Akkineni should bounce back after all the setbacks in his life.
