When Sai Pallavi declines, Trisha steps in?

Sai Pallavi has reportedly been approached to play the female lead opposite Tamil superstar Thalpathy Vijay. According to a couple of Tamil news websites, director Lokesh Kanagaraju’s first choice for the female lead was Sai Pallavi.

She didn’t say yes to the film for reasons only she knows. Only after she had rejected the film did it fall into Trisha’s lap.

Trisha is now playing the female lead in ‘Leo’, director Lokesh Kangaraju and Thalapathy Vijay’s second collaboration after ‘Master’. This is a major undertaking for Trisha. In fact, it gives her career a new impetus.

The film’s shooting is progressing at brisk pace. ‘Leo’ is one of the biggest and most-awaited films this year.

Trisha has been a leading lady in films since 2002. Sai Pallavi’s loss is Trisha’s gain.
