Adulations are pouring in for director Nag Ashwin from ace director Rajamouli to the common man who has seen ‘Mahanati’, they just can’t raving about the film. The latest to join in is director Sukumar. He got a chance to get appreciated for Nag Ashwin’s work. Confused? This is what happened…

After Sukumar saw Mahanati and was contemplating to call Nag Ashwin in his mind…a lady approached him at the theatre. She asked if he was the director and he said yes. She hugged him and thanked him for portraying actress Savitri the way she is shown in Mahanati. When the lady hugged, Sukumar experienced the adulation and love that rightly belonged to Nag Ashwin. What more can a director ask for.

Sukumar penned this in his letter to Nag Ashwin. He also wished that the lady never comes to know that he was not the film Mahanati’s creator.
 
Meanwhile, ‘Mahanati’ has crossed half million mark at USA boxoffice.
