Naga Chaitanya wanted to commence the shoot of director Chandoo Mondeti’s action drama ‘Savyasachi’ on 20th September on the eve of his grandfather ANR’s birth anniversary. However, the film didn’t take off.
Official version is that they didn’t get a key actor’s dates. Grapevine has it that Chaitanya is in no mood to work after the disastrous result of ‘Yuddham Sharanam’ on which he had pinned hopes. As the action drama bombed like anything, he immediately cancelled the shoot of ‘Savyasachi’ and the film has been put on hold now.
He will be tying the knots with actress Samantha on October 6th in Goa. He is expected to be free from the celebrations by end of October. So, the film might take off then.
Meanwhile, the makers are trying to rope in Madhavan for a key role in this movie.
