After the colossal flop of Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Brahmotsavam’, director Srikanth Addala approached Sharwanand. Geetha Arts came forward to bankroll a project in the combination of Srikanth Addala and Sharwanand but somehow it didn’t materialize. Titled ‘Kuchipudi Vaari Veedhi’, the film was planned as a multi-starrer.
But as the film is not happening, Addala took up the Telugu remake of Tamil movie ‘Asuran’. He is now directing ‘Naarappa’ with Venkatesh. Will Sharwanand green light ‘Kuchipadi Vaari Veddhi’ again? No, it will not happen. The ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ actor has made his decision of not taking risks after the colossal flop of ‘Janu’.
So, Addala’s career depends on the success of ‘Naarappa’.
