Will U Turn be postponed?

Samantha’s ‘U Turn’ is likely to be postponed. The thriller is originally planned for September 13 release in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. But now her husband Naga Chaitanya’s movie ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’ is going to be released on September 13 instead of August 31st.

As it would not look good to compete with her hubby’s movie, she is planning to push the thriller for a later date, says a source. Clarity will emerge in couple of days.

‘U Turn’ is the remake of the Kannada hit of the same name. Samantha plays the role of a crime reporter. The film also stars Bhumika, Rahul Ravindran and Aadhi Pinisetty in key roles. The film has been helmed by Pawan Kumar, who also directed the Kannada original.
