ధనుష్ హీరోగా నటించి, దర్శకత్వం వహించిన “ఇడ్లీ కొట్టు” చిత్రం తెలుగులో ఫ్లాప్ అని చెప్పాలి. అక్టోబర్ 1న విడుదలైన ఈ చిత్రానికి తమిళంలో యావరేజ్ టాక్ వచ్చింది. కానీ తెలుగులో నెగెటివ్ కామెంట్స్, రివ్యూస్ వచ్చాయి. ఇక ఈ సినిమాకి చెప్పుకోదగ్గ ఓపెనింగ్ రాలేదు.
“ఇడ్లీ కొట్టు” విడుదలైన రెండో రోజుకే “కాంతర చాప్టర్ 1” విడుదలైంది. “కాంతార” దూకుడు ముందు “ఇడ్లీ కొట్టు” నిలవలేకపోయింది. రెండో రోజు నుంచే జనం ధనుష్ సినిమా గురించి ఆలోచించడం మానేశారు.
ఈ వీకెండ్ తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకులకు మొదటి ఛాయిస్ గా “కాంతార చాప్టర్ 1” నిలిచింది. ఆ తర్వాత “ఓజి”, “మిరాయి” నిలిచాయి. వీటి తర్వాతే “ఇడ్లీ కొట్టు.” అంటే ఈ సినిమాని ఎవరూ పట్టించుకోవడం లేదు అనే అర్థం.
