Versatile actor Dhanush celebrates his birthday today. On this occasion, the makers of ‘Sir’, which sees Dhanush making his Telugu debut, unveiled the teaser.
Dhanush gets an introduction in the teaser as a junior lecturer. ‘Sir..myself Bala Gangadhar Tilak…I’m a junior lecturer at Tripathi Educational Institute,” he enters the scene.
Going by the teaser, ‘Sir’ is about the education system. The protagonist believes that education should be shared with all as a prasadam, not be served as a dish like a five-star hotel. That sums up pretty much the film’s theme. Dhanush dubbed his voice in Telugu.
Directed by Venky Atluri of ‘Toli Prema’ fame, the film has Samyuktha Menon as the female lead. The teaser has action elements, dialogues, and a bit of drama.
Yuvraj cranks the camera while GV Prakash scores the music. Produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, ‘Sir’ is in progress.
