Day 1: Sensational opening for Uppena

‘Uppena’ took the box-office by storm. It was expected to open big, but the numbers exceeded the calculations. The film set a new record for a movie featuring debutants. The collections for ‘Uppena’ on the first day are on par with some of the A-list star movies.

It has collected Rs 9.3 crore share from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in its first day. This is HUGE.

The viral songs and the high-pitched publicity have made the youngsters flocking to the theaters. The hype around the film has been on a very high despite the lead pair is newcomers. Though it features a debutant as a hero, the newcomer is not an outsider. He is none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi’s nephew.

Chiranjeevi, NTR, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, and Pawan Kalyan have given huge publicity. The name of Sukumar and the might of Mythri Movie Makers have helped the film got such craze.
