Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse-starrer “Lenin,” which released in theatres on July 10, witnessed a healthy jump in box office collections on its second day.
Saturday evening and night shows in Hyderabad registered an excellent response, while the film also performed strongly across Andhra Pradesh. In North America, Lenin has grossed around $430K, putting it on course to cross the half-million-dollar milestone soon.
Overall, the film is showing encouraging momentum in both the Telugu states and overseas markets, with positive word of mouth contributing to the growth. The film has grossed Rs 23.40 crore worldwide in its first two days.
Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, “Lenin” is jointly produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna under Annapurna Studios and Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments.
On Sunday, the film is expected to witness bigger jump in collections.
