Released on December 25, Sai Tej starrer ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ has completed two weeks of run in the theaters. Credited as the first major film to hit the screens after lockdown, the romantic drama collected big money in the initial days.
Due to its average content, the film could not sustain the interest of the audiences. Its collections remained low after the first weekend. By end of the second week, the collections have come to meager returns. With new releases hitting the screens with ‘Krack’ today, it will be completely sidelined.
Zee Group bought the theatrical, digital, and satellite rights of ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ for a whopping price, and producer BVSN Prasad made good money from this deal. UV Creations, Dil Raju, and others had released the movie in theaters. For them, it is no profit, no loss venture.
‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ was directed by newcomer Subbu. His writing and narration were full of cliches. But, given the current conditions, the film can be termed a safe venture.
