Ajith Kumar fans push for quick return amid salary standoff

Ajith Kumar remains one of the biggest stars in the Tamil film industry. With Vijay stepping away from films to focus on his political career, many fans believe this is the right time for Ajith to strengthen his position at the top by signing more projects.

However, Ajith has not yet announced his next film, tentatively referred to as AK64. The prolonged silence has become a topic of discussion among fans, who are eagerly waiting for an official update.

According to industry buzz, the delay is linked to remuneration negotiations.

Reports suggest that Ajith initially sought a fee of around Rs 185 crore for his next project. As producers reportedly found the amount difficult to accommodate, he is said to have reduced his demand first to Rs 160 crore and later to Rs 140 crore. Even then, no producer has reportedly finalized a deal.

As a result, the actor’s break from cinema has continued longer than expected, leaving fans disappointed and anxious about his next move.

With a shortage of top-tier star-driven projects, fans are hoping Ajith will soon announce AK64 and return to theaters with a major film.
