Festival seasons become overcrowded

Dasara and Christmas are the next two major holiday seasons in the coming months. As a result, producers are scrambling to secure distribution for their films during the festival season.

On October 19, during the Dasara holidays, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Thalapathy Vijay’s films “Bhagavanth Kesari” and “Leo” will compete directly. The following day, Ravi Teja’s “Tiger Nageshwara Rao” will also be released in theaters. These three films will compete during the Dasara 2023 season.

Nani, Venkatesh, and Sudheer Babu have already booked their Christmas films. Nithin has now entered the race. “Hi Nanna” by Nani, “Saindhava” by Venkatesh, and “Harom Hara” by Sudheer Babu have all announced December 22 release dates. Nithin’s “Extraordinary Man” will be released in theaters a day later.

The films of Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja, and Teja Sajja will also compete at Sankranthi 2024.
