2.0 crosses Rs 50 Cr share in AP and TS

Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ has joined the coveted club of Rs 50 in AP and Telangana. It has created a new record among dubbed movies by crossing Rs 50 Cr (share) mark in Telugu states. No other dubbed movie has raked in such staggering amount so far.

Released on November 29, Shankar directed graphical extravaganza was bought for whopping Rs 72 Cr. In its 16 days run, the movie has collected Rs 50 Cr share from theaters. It needs to collect another 22 Cr to reach to break-even which is an impossible task. However, the film has entered into profits in Nizam area as nearly Rs 23 Cr came from this area.
