The local Telugu media was hyperactive with reports of actress Laya meeting with an accident in the USA. Also it was said that Laya was rushed to the hospital immediately.
Contrary to all these reports Laya posted a video message in which she clarified that all these reports were untrue and she was perfectly alright. “From yesterday, I am getting calls from friends, family members and relatives from India enquiring about my health. These false reports put me and my family unnecessary anguish. I only request media to publish such news after verifying it. I am perfectly alright, “the actress said.
Laya who had acted in many hits in Telugu is currently living in USA with her husband and two kids. She stopped acting in movies after her marriage in 2006.
