Adivi Sesh decides to compete with Venky and Varun

Adivi Sesh has acted in a pan-Indian project named ‘Major’, which is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the hero of the November 2008 Mumbai attacks. The film got postponed many times and locked May 27th as its new release date.

However, ‘F3’ starring Varun Tej and Venkatesh also announced its new release date as May 27th. ‘F3’ being a biggie and a sequel to blockbuster ‘F2’ gets an advantage at the box-office in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. So, trade pundits expected that the makers of ‘Major’ would look for another date.

But the team has reiterated that they are not backing on their release plans. It will compete with ‘F3’.

Directed by Sasikiran Tikka, ‘Major’ has Adivi Sesh playing Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Bollywood actress Saiee Manjrekar plays his wife. Sobhita Dhulipala appears in another key role.
