“Akhanda 2: Thaandavam” has entered its final production phase, and the team is currently filming a massive dance number on an extravagant set in Hyderabad. The scale is staggering, with as many as 600 dancers participating in the shoot.
Choreographer Bhanu Master, who earlier designed the blockbuster “Jai Balayya” track in Akhanda, is once again behind the moves. The song, composed by Thaman, promises to be a high-voltage mass number.
Balakrishna is said to be delivering electrifying dance moments, and the makers are confident this track will set the screens on fire and thrill fans when the film hits theaters.
The first part, Akhanda, released on December 2, 2021, and became a massive success. Keeping the tradition, the sequel will also arrive in the first week of December.
This action drama with devotional elements once again features Nandamuri Balakrishna in dual roles, reprising his characters from the original. Pragya Jaiswal too returns, while the sequel introduces new additions: Aadhi Pinisetty as the main antagonist and Samyuktha in a pivotal role.
Boyapati Srinu is directing, marking his fourth collaboration with Balakrishna. The film is being produced by Gopi Achanta and Ram Achanta in association with Balakrishna’s daughter Tejaswini.
