‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in the direction of Trivikram is all set to hit the screens on January 12, 2020. The film has generated great buzz thanks to Thaman’s terrific soundtrack. The songs went viral. Expectations of the movie are rising high further.
Still, the makers have not closed the theatrical business deals yet. Why?
According to our sources, Allu Arjun and the producers are demanding a big price from the distributors. Allu Arjun wants it to be the number one movie in terms of pre-release business among his movies. The film has already closed business for Nizam, Ceded and Overseas areas. Dil Raju bagged it for Rs 20 crore for the Nizam region. Ceded was sold for Rs 12 crore which is highest in Allu Arjun’s career. Overseas rights were snapped by Blue Sky for Rs 8 crore.
The team is expecting such huge amounts for individual districts in Andhra and also from Karnataka. This is why the theatrical deals were not closed yet.
