‘Alavaikunthapurramloo’ Hindi remake flops miserably

‘Alavaikunthapurramloo’ was a smashing success. It was one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time. It broke numerous records. The songs spawned millions of films.

Trivikram directed the film, which starred Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. The film’s Hindi remake, on the other hand, is going to be a flop. The Hindi remake titled ‘Shehzada,’ starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon as the lead pair, was released in theatres last weekend.

However, it only made about Rs 19 crore nett in India in its first three days. The trend appears to be negative. It will be a huge disaster.

For various reasons, Telugu films are not working when remade in Hindi. Films such as “Hit” and “Jersey” are recent examples.
