All the hype around Keerthy Suresh fades!

At this time last year, it seemed she would conquer Tollywood with big directors and producers queuing up to sign her opposite top stars like Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, NTR and Pawan Kalyan. With two back-to-back hits in the form of ‘Nenu Sailaja’ and ‘Nenu Local’ and some Tamil hits, analysts felt that Keerthy Suresh could become next number one heroine. True to the hype, she signed Trivikram’s ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ opposite Pawan Kalyan and Savitri biopic ‘Mahanati’. She was also approached for Koratala’s ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ but she didn’t sign it due to clash of dates.

A year later, the scene has changed. ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ bombed. And Mahesh Babu is working with Kiara Advani (Bharat Ane Nenu) and Pooja Hegde (next film). Ram Charan in his next film will also be romancing Kiara Advani. NTR has paired up with Pooja Hegde in Trivikram’s movie. Prabhas has Shraddha Kapoor in ‘Saaho’. Allu Arjun is currently working with Anu Emmanuel and his next film is yet to be locked.

Other than ‘Mahanati’, which is rightfully creating good positive buzz, she doesn’t have a big star movie in her kitty right now. Other actresses are bagging plum projects. From being ‘the next big star’ to one of the stars, her career has changed drastically with just one big flop. She is a talented actress. Let’s hope that her fortunes change with Mahanati!
