The confusion about the Sankranthi movie releases has ended. Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ and Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ are hitting the screens with a day’s gap as announced earlier. After days of confusion and backdoor negotiations, both the teams have agreed for sticking to the original dates. ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ has locked 11th January as its release date and ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ will hit the screens 12th January.
Announcing the decision on behalf of the producer’s guild, Dil Raju informed the media that they had intervened in the issue and sorted out the differences. A sufficient number of theaters for ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ will be allotted. The main issue was the lack of theaters for Allu Arjun’s movie on 12th January.
‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ features Mahesh Babu and Rashmika as the lead pair. Vijayashanthi, Prakash Raj and Satya Dev appear in other important roles. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the action drama is produced by Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments banner.
‘Ala Vaikunthapurramlo’ stars Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde as the lead pair. Tabu, Nivetha Pethuraju, and Sushanth play key roles. Directed by Trivikram, the family entertainer is produced by S Radhakrishna on Haarika Haasine Creations banner.
