A grand pre-release press meet for “The Girlfriend” was held in Hyderabad today. Starring Rashmika Mandanna and Dheekshith Shetty, the film is written and directed by Rahul Ravindran and jointly produced by Dheeraj Mogilineni and Vidya Koppineedi, presented by Allu Aravind.
“The Girlfriend” releases on November 7.
Director Rahul Ravindran said, “The Girlfriend has been a beautiful journey. If Allu Aravind garu hadn’t believed in it, this film wouldn’t exist. I’m proud to be part of the Geetha Arts legacy.”
Hero Dheekshith Shetty added, “Rahul trusted me with Vikram’s role, and Allu Aravind garu’s encouragement gave me immense confidence.”
Producer Allu Aravind said, “I’ve produced many successful films, but The Girlfriend gave me creative satisfaction. When I heard Rahul’s story, I felt certain emotions and truths about life needed to be told through cinema. This isn’t a movie for entertainment alone. It portrays the unspoken emotions of women around us — our mothers, sisters, and daughters.
Rashmika lived her role, and Dheekshith proved his potential.”
