Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has released “Aravindh,” the first track from his independent label, Albuquerque Records, in partnership with Universal Music India.
Released in both Tamil and Telugu, the song marks Anirudh’s move beyond film music into the independent music space. “Aravindh” tells the story of an aspiring musician struggling to make a mark in today’s crowded digital landscape.
The song revolves around Aravindh, Anirudh’s alter ego, who represents countless independent artists chasing their dreams despite numerous challenges. Through a mix of pop and hip-hop influences, the track offers a satirical yet emotional take on the realities of building a career as an independent musician.
Speaking about the song, Anirudh said that everyone has an “Aravindh” within them, someone waiting for an opportunity to showcase their talent.
With “Aravindh,” Anirudh begins a new chapter as an independent creator, with more original music and conceptual projects planned under Albuquerque Records.
