Baahubali 2 rakes in 40+ Cr on Day 1 in AP and TS

‘Baahubali 2’ is rewriting history as per as collections are concerned. According to trade pundits, the film has collected about Rs 42 Cr on day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. In Nizam, the film has raked in about Rs 8.80 Cr. In Ceded area too, it received an all-time highest amount of Rs 6.10 Cr. In Andhra, the movie received earth shattering opening of Rs 27.10 Cr. Altogether the Telugu states have contributed about Rs 42 Cr to the accounts of the distributors on Day 1.

Benefit shows, extra shows (official five shows per day in Nizam and six shows per day in AP) and fixed hires, all are included.

On the other hand, the movie is reported to have collected more than Rs 100 Cr share on a single day. No film in India received such amount in a single day before ‘Baahubali 2’. This is the power of brand Rajamouli!
