Bellamkonda Srinivas offers apologies to dad?

‘Sita’ has flopped rather miserably. The film starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead has bombed like anything. After it sank without a trace, the hero has apologized to his dad. Reason?

Actually, as soon as he heard the script, Bellamkonda Suresh (the hero’s father) felt that ‘Sita’ is weak and that it will definitely bomb if made with his son as the hero.

However, Sreenivas had other thoughts. All his films, including ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’, till then had been intense, mass or action films. So, he wanted to try comedy for a change.

“My friends have always been telling me that I should do a comedy as I come across as funny, cool person off-screen. Teja garu narrated two scripts. The other one was intense. I chose ‘Sita’ because I felt it would give me an opportunity to showcase a new angle of me,” he had said before the film’s release.

Eventually, his father’s judgment proved to be right. The son has sincerely offered his apologies to his dad for not heeding his sage advice. As the hero would say in ‘Sita’, ‘Uh-oh!’
