Big month for Tollywood

Tollywood has entered into final quarter of 2018. October, November and December will decide how the year will end for the movie industry. The industry has been reeling under flops. Except ‘Geetha Govindam’, there was no film that put box-office on fire in the recent times. The month of October is crucial and very important as biggies like NTR’s ‘Aravindha Sametha’ are releasing.

The first film that would be hitting the screens is hot and happening Vijay Deverakonda’s NOTA that is scheduled for October 5. The film is carrying huge buzz and it is expected to take flying start at the box-office. Another small film ‘Bhale Manchi Chowka Beram’ is also testing its luck on that day.

On October 11, NTR’s ‘Aravindha Sametha’ is hitting worldwide and the trade is expecting that the film will smash many records. Since it is hitting the screens during Dussera holidays, the film has high chances of setting new records. This is the only big star movie this season and people are eagerly awaiting and also NTR has consistently been delivering hits of late. Given this fact, the trade is betting high on this movie.

On the eve of Dussera festival, Ram’s ‘Hello Guru Prema Kosame’ and Vishal’s ‘Pandem Kodi 2’ are hitting the screens on Oct 18. Ram’s film doesn’t have much hype. The combination is hardly enticing but the director Trinadha Rao is riding high on success as his previous two movies ‘Cinema Choopista Mava’ and ‘Nenu Local’ were blockbusters. Vishal’s ‘Pandem Kodi 2’ is carrying good buzz due to its brand name.

On October 19, Ravi Babu’s children’s movie ‘Adhugo’ that has a piglet in key role will be releasing in theaters.

The month will saw the final release with Nara Rohith, Shriya and Sree Vishnu starrer ‘Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu’. The film is scheduled for October 26 release.
