Mahesh Babu’s ‘Brahmotsavam’ has completed its first week run. The movie has collected Rs 8.35 Cr in Nizam area, the biggest territory for Telugu movie market. The film couldn’t live up to the great expectations and collections started dwindling from Day 2. On the first day the movie has collected nearly Rs 4 Cr in Nizam area. Yesterday (Thursday), the movie raked in mere 11 lakhs from entire Nizam area.
‘Brahmotsavam’ is one of the biggest flops in recent times. The prime reason for its failure is the director Addala’s boring narration. Despite Mahesh Babu giving his best and PVP Cinema investing huge money to make it a visual treat, the director’s bad screenplay and direction made the movie a big flop.
