“Peddi” has generated significant buzz ever since its video glimpse went viral, creating strong positive impressions and raising expectations. However, the film’s shooting schedule is now becoming a cause for concern.
Initially, the makers were confident about releasing the film on March 27 and even preponed it to March 26, citing rapid progress in production. But as February progressed, plans changed and the release was pushed to April 30, resulting in a one-month delay.
According to the latest updates, there are fresh doubts about whether the team can complete the remaining shoot in time to meet the revised date. The film reportedly still has three songs, a portion of talkie, and a key action episode left to be filmed.
If executed efficiently, these portions could be wrapped up by the first week of April, allowing enough time for post-production and release. However, that leaves very little margin for corrections, cross-checks, or potential reshoots.
Director Buchi Babu Sana is said to be under pressure to accelerate the process and ensure the film meets its deadline. Otherwise, another postponement may become inevitable.
