Samantha debuted in Telugu with director Gautham Menon’s ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ opposite Naga Chaitanya. Apart from this film being a hit, we also saw Samantha turning into a star overnight. The hit pair Naga Chaitanya and Samantha then acted in two more movies, ‘Autonagar Surya’ and ‘Manam’.
Now we hear that director Gautham Menon has roped in this hit pair for his latest bilingual love story. Simbu will be the hero in the Tamil version.Chaitanya has already landed in Chennai and will start shooting for this film from May 11th. Samantha who is currently busy with couple of big projects in Kollywood is yet to confirm her dates for this, we hear.
