Charan – Aravind Swamy – Mani Rathnam's movie confirmed

Mani Rathnam, considered as one of the all-time greatest filmmakers in India, has completed the shoot and postproduction of Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari starrer ‘Cheliya’. The movie is gearing up for release in April.

On the other hand, Mani Rathnam has already begun pre-production work for his next movie. The film will star none other than our Tollywood star Ram Charan. Although Charan is yet to commence the regular shoot of director Sukumar’s period love story, he has given the dates to Mani Rathnam’s film from June.

Mani Rathnam and his team have already begun finalising the locations, casting process and other pre-production work for this movie. To be made in Telugu and Tamil languages, the different film will be produced by Mani Rathnam himself.

Mani Rathnam earlier planned to make movies with Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna as well as with Nani but that didn’t work out. But Charan himself approached Mani Rathnam to act under his direction. Thus the movie has been materialised.  
 
Interestingly, Aravind Swamy who played negative role in Ram Charan’s recent ‘Dhruva’ will also be doing key role in Mani Rathnam – Charan’s film.
