Chiranjeevi rubbishes RS nomination rumors


Megastar Chiranjeevi requested the media not to drag his name into politics. A section of media has been speculating that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had offered him a nomination to Rajya Sabha,

“I met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to discuss film industry issues and ticket prices but a section of media is painting a political hue to our meeting, which is baseless. I have moved away from politics. I will not make a comeback, nor have interested in legislative positions,” he tweeted.

Chiranjeevi quit politics three years ago and has has focused on his acting career. The megastar is busy shooting for multiple projects.

Chiranjeevi recently met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Vijayawada and said the Chief Minister would announce a favorable G.O regarding ticket rates.
