Chiranjeevi skips release, announces a slate of films

Megastar Chiranjeevi is clueless about the release date of his current film ‘Acharya’ being directed by Koratala Siva. The film that was scheduled for August 14 will not make it to the theaters this year as the shootings have been stopped amid coronavirus outbreak.

The entire movie industry is waiting with bated breath to get clarity about the resume of shootings from the government. This is why Chiranjeevi is skipping the question about the release date. Even as uncertainty is prevailing, he is continuing to announce new films. Two weeks ago, he had said that he had given his nod to director Bobby and director Sujeeth (‘Lucifer’ remake). And now, he adds that he will also work with Meher Ramesh. 

We have to see how the senior star would line up all these projects and cater dates? But these young directors are on cloud nine on getting the chance to direct the megastar.
