Cinema halls to open from 1st August?

The coronavirus cases have not yet shown any downward trend in India. But the news reports suggest the Union government is mulling over to give a nod to the reopening of cinema halls from August 1st.

The government will announce new relaxations tomorrow as part of Unlock 3.0.

The association of Indian multiplexes has urged the government to allow the theaters to resume operations as they have readied all safety measures like sanitizers, disinfectant machines, removing seats.

It is said that the government may ask theater to reopen with 25 percent seating. But clarity will come tomorrow.
