Color Photo, Thaman win National Film Awards

Music director S Thaman won the national award for the best music director for his terrific songs for ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’. The film was a musical blockbuster. Thaman won his first national award for this Trivikram movie starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde.

National Film Awards for the year 2020 were announced today. 

Color Photo, directed by Sandeep Raj, and starring Suhas and Chandini Chowdary, was declared the Best Film in Telugu. ‘Natyam’, a dance-based film, won two awards for best choreography (Sandhya Raju) and Best Makeup (Rambabu). 

A total of four awards were bagged by Telugu films. 

After Mahadevan, Ilayaraja, Ramesh Naidu, MM Keeravani, Vidya Sagar, and Shantanu Moitra, Thaman is the seventh musician to win a national award for music for a Telugu film. It’s a big achievement for Thaman.
