Critics thrash Alia Bhatt’s film

Alia Bhatt is going through the worst phase professionally. Since the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, she has become a victim of trolling as she allegedly made some bad remarks against the deceased actor. Now, her new film, Sadak 2, is receiving worst ratings from all the critics.

Directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt, ‘Sadak 2’ is now streaming on an OTT platform. The film is a sequel to the musical hit ‘Sadak’. In this sequel, Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, and Aditya Roy Kapoor played the main lead.

“One of 2020’s worst films, take this trip at your own risk,” said Hindustan Times critic Jyoti Sharma Bawa. “Unbearable,” declared critic Taran Adarsh reviewing the film. “Lacklustre plot… Lethargic and lifeless screenwriting… Music doesn’t work either… Terrible waste of the brand and talent associated with this film,” he continued.

The majority of the critics gave ratings in the range of 0.5/5 to 1/5.

‘Sadak 2’ trailer has garnered more than 12 million dislikes. Now, the film is also being disliked by everyone.

Alia Bhatt will have to join the shoot of Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’. Despite she is at the receiving end of trolls and negative publicity, director Rajamouli doesn’t want to rethink about her casting.
