S S Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2′ was the first Indian film to make Rs 1000 cr worldwide. Now, Aamir Khan’s “Dangal’ has gone past the Rs 2000 cr mark with its terrific run in China. It is the only Indian film to have grossed Rs. 2,000 crore worldwide.
Dangal has collected nearly Rs 1250 Cr from China market alone. Thus it was named the fifth highest-grossing non-English film in history. ‘Dangal’ was also dubbed into Telugu as ‘Yuddham’. The movie is a biopic on wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters Geeta and Babita.
‘Dangal’ is now all-time number one Indian movie. Second all-time biggest blockbuster is ‘Baahubali 2’.
