Darbar Telugu trailer: Rajinikanth returns as a super cop!

After a long time, Superstar Rajinikanth seems to have done an out and out commercial cop story. The trailer of ‘Darbar’, which dropped today, laid the basic story bare. Rajinikanth is playing the role of Adithya Arunachalam, commissioner of the police of Mumbai city. Is a bad cop or super cop? That can only be revealed in the movie but the trailer gives that he beats the pulp out of goons as a cop.

The trailer ends with a punch that ‘originalgane villain amma. Idi ela vundi’ hinting about his early career of villain roles.

We also get to see the romantic thread of Rajinikanth and Nayanthara. This is their third pairing after ‘Chandramukhi’ and ‘Kathanayakudu’. Directed by AR Murugadoss, ‘Darbar’ is produced by Lyca Productions and has music by Anirudh Ravichander.

‘Darbar’ is scheduled for January 9, 2020.
