“Sankranthiki Vasthunm” resonated well with the family audience, as anticipated. The film, despite having limited screens compared to the other two Sankranthi movies, took the best opening, almost near 100 percent occupancy.
After a while, Venkatesh had seen his film registering houseful collections everywhere -Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and the USA. Trade pundits say the film collected Rs 23 Cr nett in India and $700k gross (Rs 6.04 Cr gross) in North America on the first day.
The collections are even better on the second day. So, it will become the the first choice for the audiences this festival period.
“Sankranthiki Vasthunam” offers crazy fun and plenty of laughs. One should not take the story seriously, as its sole purpose is to provide excellent entertainment. Hence, the Anil Ravipudi-directed family drama is having the best revenue at the box office.
The film will see more collections once it receives additional screens.
