Devara Hindi collects Rs 27 crore in its first weekend

NTR’s debut solo hero film, “Devara,” made a good impact in the Hindi market. NTR set his sights on capturing the North Indian market, promoted the film well, and roped in Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar to release it in Hindi.

The film in its first weekend posted a good number—Rs 27 crore (nett).

It collected Rs 7.5 crore on the first day and then saw growth on Saturday, raking in Rs 9 crore. It also saw a rise in collections on Sunday, collecting Rs 11 crore. Overall, “Devara” had an impressive weekend run in North India.

In his initial attempt in the Hindi market, “Devara” brought in pass marks for NTR. The film also starred Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
