Balakrishna has expressed his displeasure for not inviting him to the meeting with CM KCR. The industry bigwigs recently had a series of meetings with Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Minister for Cinematography, and later met Telangana Chief Minister KCR to seek permission for the movie shootings. While Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna had participated in those meetings, Balakrishna’s absence had widely been discussed. When asked about his nonappearance at the meeting, he replied, “no one had invited me. I too have read about the meeting in the newspapers.”
He made these comments today at NTR Ghat after paying tributes to his father late NT Rama Rao.
There seems to be a communication gap between Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi. It was Chiranjeevi who took an initiative of holding meetings with the minister and Chief Minister and he invited leading directors and producers.
Meanwhile, all the working directors and producers are holding of series of meetings at Annapurna Studios to form regulations and measures to take at the sets of the movie before the resumption of shootings. It is expected that they’d get clarity by the end of today’s meeting.
