Dil Raju's wrong calculations

Producer Dil Raju is known for shrewdness in judging a movie. Of late many of his calculations have gone wrong. The star producer-distributor lost more than Rs 60 Cr in the distribution business recently with disasters like Mahesh Babu’s ‘Spyder’ and Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Agnyaathaavaasi’.
 
After those disasters, he refused to buy ‘Rangasthalam’ for Nizam area. Then UV Creations bought the movie and released it through Dil Raju. Now the film is heading towards Rs 25 Cr (share) in Nizam area.
 
With Nani delivering hits after hits, Dil Raju didn’t want to lose the opportunity to buy his next film as well. He bought entire theatrical rights of ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’ for two Telugu states. The film in its opening weekend took just average openings. It is unlikely to reach break-even.
 
Dil Raju as producer is spot-less but as a distributor is calculations are not yielding better results.
