Dragon to head to Sri Lanka for a major action episode

The makers of “Dragon”, starring NTR and directed by Prashanth Neel, are gearing up for a major shooting schedule in Sri Lanka next month.

The team will first complete a brief schedule in Hyderabad before moving to Sri Lanka, where several key episodes, including high-octane action sequences, are planned. Given Prashanth Neel’s reputation for staging large-scale action blocks, the overseas schedule is expected to be an important phase in the film’s production.

“Dragon” is one of the most anticipated projects currently in Indian cinema as it brings together NTR and Prashanth Neel for the first time. The film is being mounted on a massive scale and is reportedly set against the backdrop of the opium trade in 1960s.

The recently released 4-minute video glimpse stunned everyone. The teaser introduced main characters like NTR playing the role of an assassin, Luger, Anil Kapoor as police officer Raghuveer Rathod, Ashutosh Rana as Dada Sarkar and Rukmini Vasanth as the main heroine.

The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with NTR Arts. With shooting progressing steadily, the team is working towards its scheduled theatrical release on June 11 next year.
